Born and raised in Elyria, Ohio just west of Cleveland Tianna Madison was a nine-time state champion, tied with Jesse Owens for most state titles. She earned a full academic and athletic scholarship to the University of Tennessee where she was a 2x South Eastern Conference Champion (SEC) and a 2x NCAA champion. Tianna is also a two-time Olympian and three-time Olympic gold medalist. She won her first gold medal by leading off the world record-setting women’s 4x100m relay team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, while also taking fourth in the women’s 100-meters in London.
Four years later at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Madison added two more gold medals to her collection. She set a new personal best with a mark of 7.17m/23-6 to win the women’s long jump competition and made it back-to-back Olympic titles by again leading off the women’s 4x100m Olympic champion relay team.
Madison is also a three-time World Champion in the long jump, taking home the title at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki, Finland, and again at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, China. She also won the 2006 World Indoor Championship in the long jump in Moscow, Russia. She also has earned three bronze medals at world championships during her career.
In addition to her successes on the field Tianna is a trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, advocate for various social justice initiatives, and has a social work degree from the University of Tennessee and now uses the full range of her education as a track and field coach at San Jose State University.
She is passionate about using her lived experience and education to help others become high- performing individuals and teams while safeguarding their mental health.
Tianna speaks in front of both domestic and international audiences. Most notably a panel during Super Bowl weekend on behalf of women in sports, the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta Georgia, in Oslo Norway, for a SHE Conference on the topic of resilience before hundreds of attendees, and at the Cannes Lion Festival France on a panel for disparities in healthcare and the black maternity health crisis. Tianna is a passionate advocate for Black maternal health, driven by her personal experience. She nearly died during childbirth, and her son was born at just 26 weeks, requiring 73 days of care in the NICU.
Tianna is a credible thought leader having been called upon by the United States Olympic Committee to discuss racial bias on a year long committee in addition to being published in the Yoga Journal, The Telegraph(UK), The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Irish Times, and Newsweek on a variety of subjects. She is also author of her riveting memoir Survive and Advance a tale of a life spent running.
Now that Tianna is retired from athletics, she channels the same energy, lived experience, and social work background into making impactful change in the communities she is a part of. Tianna is dedicated to leveraging her platform and expertise to advocate for equitable healthcare, social justice, and mental health awareness. Her commitment to creating positive change and uplifting others remains unwavering as she continues to inspire and lead by example.

Organizing movements in person and online, Chelsea is globally recognized for her ability to use storytelling and digital media to reach multicultural and multigenerational audiences. In her role as the CEO of CPM Global, she’s worked with companies, organizations, and universities across the world to help launch social impact campaigns and sustainable initiatives.
Her work has been featured in Forbes, Rolling Stone, Vogue, CNN, Financial Times, and more. Chelsea was honored as the Voice of Justice on the Oprah Winfrey Network and received the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award. She has appeared on programs like ABC’s Soul of a Nation now on Hulu and Making Black America on PBS, amplifying the stories of movements in the digital age. Chelsea was appointed as an Executive Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (the governing body of the Webby Awards and Anthem Awards) as a judge for social impact campaigns in media. Most recently, Chelsea executive produced Sounds of Change, a docuseries that highlights the voices of some of the last living survivors of the Civil Rights Movement.

Sophie M. Balzora MD, FACG is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and practicing gastroenterologist at the NYU IBD Center.
She is Founding President of the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists (ABGH), Chair of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG)’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and serves on ACG Institute’s Leadership, Ethics and Equity Center Advisory Board, the Color of Gastrointestinal Illness (COGI) Medical Advisory Board and Board of Directors, and on the Board of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.
Dr. Balzora has been recognized and awarded nationally for her contributions to the field of medicine as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and health equity.

Channing Martin is IPG’s Global Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer. In this role, she is responsible for advancing IPG’s diversity, equity and inclusion objectives and continuing to strengthen the company’s progress to being one of the world’s most diverse and inclusive companies.
Reporting to the CEO, Channing leads IPG’s strategy on all diversity-related matters, including the continued diversification of IPG’s senior ranks and talent pipeline, collaboration and partnership with IPG’s full network of agency brands, CEOs and DE&I leadership community. In her role, she also supports the advancement of social impact strategies and practices in partnership with the leadership of IPG’s integrated ESG team.
Prior to joining IPG, Channing was Chief Diversity and Social Responsibility Officer of CSG, a global provider of consumer engagement and digital experience solutions. In this role, she worked across the company to promote and build effective strategies for equity, diversity and inclusion. She was also responsible for environmental, societal and governance (ESG) initiatives, recommending investments, activities and programs focused on sustainable, socially aware business practices that incorporate diverse people and perspectives, voices and ideas.
Channing previously held the positions of Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Diversity Lead and Strategic Planner for the US Department of State and the Diversity Recruitment and Assessment Manager for the US Office of Personnel Management.
Throughout her career, Channing has developed and executed measurable diversity initiatives that amplify employee voices, build diverse pipelines of talent, mitigate bias in hiring and performance reviews and strengthen community partnerships to reach new audiences.
Channing holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Heinz College at Carnegie-Mellon University.

As CEO, Samuels oversees the company’s mission in amplifying diverse voices to shape the narrative around Black culture. Since stepping into the role in January 2021, Samuels has transformed REVOLT into a powerful storytelling engine for Black voices globally. Under his leadership, the company has experienced rapid growth and digital expansion, reaching over 50 million Millennial and Gen Z viewers as a transformative leader in media. Samuels has also championed initiatives including REVOLT’s $50 million annual reinvestment into the Black community, programs that secure investor funds for Black entrepreneurs without requiring equity, and efforts that ensure content creators receive ownership in the IP they help produce.
In addition to his role as CEO, Samuels is the host of REVOLT’s The Blackprint, a show where innovators, disruptors, and changemakers share their journeys and lessons learned to inspire the next generation of leaders.
With over a decade of executive experience, Samuels has worked with global companies such as Walmart, McDonald’s, AT&T, Chrysler, the NBA, and Johnson & Johnson, helping them build impactful brands that resonate deeply with their audiences. On October 21, 2017, the executive committee of the NAACP National Board of Directors elected Derrick Johnson President and CEO. Derrick Johnson formerly served as vice chairman of the NAACP National Board of Directors as well as state president for the Mississippi State Conference NAACP.
A longstanding member and leader of the NAACP, Mr. Johnson will guide the Association through a period of re envisioning and reinvigoration.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Johnson attended Tougaloo College in Jackson, MS. He then continued onto Houston, TX to receive his JD from the South Texas College of Law. In later years, Mr. Johnson furthered his training through fellowships with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the George Washington University School of Political Management, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has served as an annual guest lecturer at Harvard Law School, lending his expertise to Professor Lani Guinier’s course on social movements, and as an adjunct professor at Tougaloo College.
Mr. Johnson is a veteran activist who has dedicated his career to defending the rights and improving the lives of Mississippians. As State President of the NAACP Mississippi State Conference, he led critical campaigns for voting rights and equitable education. He successfully managed two bond referendum campaigns in Jackson, MS that brought $150 million in school building improvements and $65 million towards the construction of a new convention center, respectively. As a regional organizer at the Jackson-based non-profit, Southern Echo, Inc., Mr. Johnson provided legal, technical, and training support for communities across the South.
In recognition for his service to the state of Mississippi, the Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court appointed Mr. Johnson to the Mississippi Access to Justice Commission, and the Governor of Mississippi appointed him Chair of the Governor’s Commission for Recovery, Rebuilding, and Renewal after devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Johnson founded One Voice Inc. to improve the quality of life for African Americans through civic engagement training and initiatives. One Voice has spawned an annual Black Leadership Summit and the Mississippi Black Leadership Institute, a nine month training program for community leaders.

She has more than 30 years of extensive marketing and leadership experience at large global brands. Prior to Office Depot, she served as Chief Marketing Officer of The ADT Corporation, a leading provider of home and business security services. Prior to that, Jerri served as Executive Vice President, CMO for Nokia based in Helsinki and London. Additionally, she held senior marketing roles as SVP at Verizon Communications, CMO at Citibank, VP at Revlon, VP at Harrah’s Entertainment, at the NFL and at General Mills, formerly the Pillsbury Company. Jerri is an Economics graduate of Spelman College, where she served as a member of the Board of Trustees and received her MBA from Clark Atlanta University Graduate School of Business.
She currently serves as a director on the boards of Dow, one of the world’s largest materials science companies; Under Armour Inc., the global athletic performance and innovation brand; cars.com, a leading digital marketplace that connects car shoppers with sellers; and Root Insurance, a disruptive digital company utilizing AI to provide auto insurance. Jerri previously served on the boards of ServiceMaster, Belk, Gurwitch Products, Tommy Hilfiger, and the advisory board of Pepsico.
