Susie Jaramillo is an Emmy-nominated director, artist, and board director, and the co-founder and CEO of Encantos, an award-winning children’s entertainment tech company named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies. She is also the creator of Canticos, the #1 bilingual preschool brand and series, beloved by families everywhere.

At Encantos, Susie leads a mission to share stories with a Latin heart for global audiences—brought to life through apps, books, content, and consumer products. With a background in brand building and a deep passion for storytelling that unites communities, she has redefined how Latino stories are told—blending beloved nursery rhymes with modern technology to create rich, inclusive content for today’s children.

Susie has been widely recognized for her creative leadership and cultural impact, with features in Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, Forbes, NPR, ABC, NBC, and CBS. She was recently named The Ad Club’s People of the Year and honored on NBCUniversal + Telemundo’s Inspiring America list.

Eddie Huang is a filmmaker, actor, chef and television personality who made his feature directorial debut with the 2021 basketball drama BOOGIE for Focus Features, which he also wrote and co-starred in opposite Pop Smoke and Taylour Paige. His autobiographical book, Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir, was adapted into a critically acclaimed ABC comedy series of the same name, which completed its six-season run in 2020. Huang also owned the iconic, Baohaus, for 10 years, which ushered in a generation of Taiwanese-Chinese restaurants and launched his career hosting cooking shows including Cheap Bites & Unique Eats. Eddie also hosted Huang’s World for Vice, which ran for 4 seasons and followed Eddie as he travelled around the world to learn about the local history, culture and food. Eddie’s highly anticipated directorial documentary Vice Is Broke about the rise and fall of Vice Media premiered opening night at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. Up next, Eddie is set to write and direct feature film Tuna Melt with Ryder Picture Company producing alongside Hybe America.

Melodie Narain-Blackwell is a dynamic advocate, educator, and founder of the Color of Gastrointestinal Illnesses (COGI). After 25 years of undiagnosed symptoms, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age 36. Turning her personal challenges into a platform for change, Melodie works to eliminate healthcare disparities for marginalized communities, especially Black and Brown patients with chronic digestive diseases.

Under her leadership, COGI has become a leading voice in gastrointestinal health equity, partnering with major pharmaceutical companies and driving policy reform, patient education, and research. Known for her bold storytelling and impactful advocacy, Melodie has spoken at national and international conferences, including Digestive Disease Week and the Congressional Black Caucus, and appeared on platforms like Good Morning America and Fox5 DC.
