Shannon Washington is the Founder of Parlour Travel. Shannon likes making things for brands that people enjoy and remember. Creating meaningful experiences. Playing around at the intersections of media, tech and storytelling. Making lightbulb moments. Mentoring who’s next. Doing that now at R/GA as US Chief Creative Officer and with her friends the McBride Sisters. She’s won a lot of things (Lions, Pencils, Webbys and even an Emmy!), and served on a lot of juries, including a Cannes Lion Jury Presidency and AICP Chair, so others can win things—but what she’s most proud of is creating Toni, a community exclusively for Black women in advertising. And making the AdWeek 100…and being named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People In Business.
